1st / 2nd Line Support Technician

GBP25,000 – GBP30,000 pro rata + holidays
This is an excellent opportunity for a 1st / 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer to secure a 4-month fixed-term contract with an internationally recognised event’s organiser in a highly varied and technical role.
The company are a well-established event organiser operating in more than 20 countries for over 30 years. They organise a wide variety of events in markets including sporting, political, cultural and corporate events as well as many more.
In this role you will provide expert 1st / 2nd line support and training to all users of company IT equipment. You will act as the first point of contact for technical service requests and log and maintain chronological detail throughout the lifespan of the support / ticket service. And respond appropriately to more complex problems through escalation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in 1st / 2nd line support and have practical experience of Windows 10 and user account management.

*Providing technical support for all company IT users
*Log and maintain tickets
*Escalate more complex problems
*Based in Castle Donington office
*Proven experience in 1st / 2nd line support role
*Highly thorough and questioning in regard to dealing with processing data
*Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
*Must be commutable to Castle Donington office
