Opportunity for international travel as the role develops
We are looking for a polished sales professional to join our client and take sole responsibility for the domestic and international air side of the business. You do not have to have industry experience but an understanding of or interest in aviation would be highly beneficial.
Ensure customer facing time is planned efficiently across the sales function and visits are secured.
Carry out external demonstrations as required by business needs.
Manage active and inactive accounts reporting and documenting to the business potential
Assist with regular monthly reports on sales progress; leads, bid to win, call campaign results, sales results, and major opportunities.
Record customer specifics within the automated system and set follow up parameters; order probability, timeframe and follow up actions/timeframes.
Liaise with internal technical lead to support the team and customer requests
Complete targeted call campaigns.
Collaborate with Marketing to enhance potential sales
Collate industry knowledge and communicate to business
Provide market intelligence on competitor activity in customer domains
Highlight opportunities and lead generation to the business for new markets
Updating and maintaining CRM for all BD and sales activity
Ensuring customer purchase orders received and processed correctly throughout the business
** It is important that applicants are prepared to travel with this role, this could be up to 2-3 nights per week and is customer led
Applicants must be prepared to travel to client sites for this role
Previous sales experience in a B2B, customer facing role is essential
We are looking for driven and self motivated individuals
Bonus is 10% of salary paid at the end of each financial year providing targets met.
Commission is 1% of sales achieved above annual company target.
