Accounts / Office Administrator

Job Description

Our client is a small business on the outskirts of Derby. They are presently looking to recruit a capable Accounts / Office Administrator to work flexible hours of 15 – 25 hours a week. This is a very varied role which will incorporate some accounts as well as general administration. Some of the more general duties will entail:

* Issuing invoices

* Paying bills

* Basic credit control

* VAT submission

* Accounts entry to Quick Books

* Reconcilation work

* Answering the phone

* Sourcing supplies for the office

* Producing letters, filing, etc

* Issuing property details

* Dealing with contractors

* Ad hoc duties as required

This is a small but very friendly office and the role would suit an “all rounder” who is capable and has great communication skills. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of accounts and the ability to work with Excel as well as having solid administrative ability.

This is a great role for someone looking to work part-time flexible hours (school hours?) and would enjoy working with a small team where you have the opportunity to get involved with all aspects of running a busy office.
