We have exciting opportunities for two Learning and Development Consultant within our Future Skills team. These will be based at our state of the art facilities, with one role at Liverpool Science Park and the other at Ansty Park (Coventry).


Reporting to the Future Skills Manager, you will liaise with multiple stakeholders to research regional skill gaps and identify new or evolving roles of strategic importance in the high value manufacturing sector. Confident and approachable, you will work closely with industry partners, manufacturers and MTC colleagues to drive collaboration and approval. With extensive L&D experience, you will be accustomed to defining and creating education and training programmes to develop the future workforce. You’ll develop engineering competency frameworks and report future requirements, ensuring that we continue to enhance our training programmes to meet the needs of the industry.


You’ll be comfortable communicating to groups and individuals. With a proven background within learning and development, you will have gained experience in competency framework and instructional design and will be able to complete your findings in detailed reports, and create business plans to ensure growth and improvements within our policies and processes.
