Global Business Coordination Specialist – Training Expert

Overview:
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to develop within the business and play a key part in shaping the future of ALDI globally. You will be a key part of a hugely ambitious technology programme, working to build and deliver outstanding training experiences to colleagues. The team, of which you will be an integral member, focusses on training across the Web, Mobile, CRM and Marketing streams.

You will develop an excellent understanding of how our Organisation works and the sector we operate in, through helping to shape the future of ALDI’s Customer Interaction global training approach. You will play a key role in communicating between technical teams and stakeholders across multiple countries, acting as a ‘translator’ where necessary to convey how technology can support users in countries, and will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all training activity.

Key responsibilities
• Gain an in-depth understanding of your allocated system(s), to enable you to design the best training journey
• Create engaging training content to be utilised by a Global audience
• Build training schedules and coordinate training activities across multiple countries
• Pro-actively identify training opportunities and develop effective solutions
• Liaise with international colleagues, in order to ensure that clear expectations are set with regards to training outcomes
• Provide expert knowledge and advice to our users during the preparation, training and cutover phases
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand the most suitable training approach, and build training material to suit this
• Dissect technical user stories in order to understand system enhancements and build items
• Complete robust post-training evaluations in order to continually improve
• Mentoring and coaching country teams to better understand the capabilities of a solution, and to realise greater levels of business benefit
• Creation of department-specific training and development plans for multiple country teams
• Reporting on training activity, both within the global and country teams
• Maintenance of all project documentation to ensure accuracy at all times e.g. JIRA/Confluence

Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
• Training / Learning and Development
• Ability to quickly understand new software in depth
• Strong experience of designing and delivering training materials to a wide audience
• Confident with executing training courses to both UK-based and international stakeholders
• Strong levels of business writing skills, in order to create clear and engaging documentation, which is understandable across international borders
• Experience of designing and building e-learning material
• A strong competence in using of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience of delivering training digitally (MS Teams, Zoom, Skype etc)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong levels of personal organisation are critical to this role
• Good communicator and facilitator of different types of sessions: group meetings, training sessions, individual coaching settings and workshops
• Ability to build trust and relationships at all levels
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks while under pressure
• Willing to travel to ALDI South countries as required

Desirable:
• Professional qualification in relevant area
• Degree in relevant subject area
• Experience with training on digital solutions/systems
• Experience of working on a change programme
• Previous experience of working with any CI solution is desirable
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Experience of liaising with, and managing, external vendors
