The Role

As Industrial Process & OEM Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing these specific sales revenues of the business.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

* Liaising with Industrial Process Manufacturers / Contractors to specify and sell the full product portfolio.

* Liaising with traditional OEM’s to specify and close profitable business across the full product portfolio.

* Monitor and analyse customer sales revenue performance on a monthly basis for the purpose of meeting their yearly budgeted territory sales targets.

* Maintaining customer account records (quotations, visit notes, communications) through the company CRM software.

* Liaising with UK office staff for the purpose of providing additional engineering, logistical and commercial support for both existing and new customers.

* Supporting the company’s marketing activities by attending trade exhibitions, conferences, customer factory visits and other marketing activities.

Scope & Environment

* Normal working hours are Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. However, you may have to work longer when necessary to meet specific deadlines or customer requirements.

* You will primarily field-based (Min 4 days per week) for the purposes of visiting both direct and indirect customers. One day per week can then be allocated for either home office or Company office, sales planning and administration. You will be required to attend conferences, exhibitions and customer presentations.

* The role will require some overnight stays away from home. Occasionally, for the purposes of escorting customers to the Company factories and product training purposes, you may from time to time be required to travel abroad within the EU.

* The INDUSTRIAL PROCESS & OEM SALES MANAGER will report to the Sales Director

* The position will have direct commercial responsibility for all appointed customers.

* The INDUSTRIAL PROCESS & OEM SALES MANAGER will have direct responsibility for negotiating customers’ prices and terms of business within the prescribed standard commercial parameters of the business.

* The INDUSTRIAL PROCESS & OEM SALES MANAGER will liaise with the Sales Director regarding any commercial and sales-related matters outside the normal scope of authority.

Experience / Skills Required:

* He or she will either have a successful track record of achieving business growth and customer satisfaction in an HVAC and/or building services or Infrastructure products business or be able to demonstrate the correct attributes and ability to do so.

* Sound business and professional technical (M&E) competency

* Experience with HVAC and Industrial Fans, Ventilation & Cooling Products is essential and an appreciation of the End User marketplace (Food and Drink Factories, Pharmaceutical manufacturing etc.) would also be a distinct advantage.

* Experience selling into industrial and factory focused end-user clients, consultants/HVAC specifiers, specialist HVAC contractors would be advantageous.

* A demonstrated ability to identify and exploit national account business opportunities with major corporate customers is desirable.

* The individual selected should possess excellent overall business skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, planning, presentation and organisational abilities.

* Financial and mathematical acumen is required

* A willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally in Europe is required. A current UK driving license is mandatory.

PLEASE NOTE Candidate is ideally located around the southern side of the M1 | M40 corridor. If the ideal candidate resides further afield exceptions could be made however despite geographical preference issued by our client the successful candidate must be prepared to travel further the whole of the UK
