Marinating, browning and oven roasting all done by hand, just as you would at home and this is what makes them so extraordinarily tasty.

The role of the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer is primarily to support the running of the factory by resolving breakdowns and by delivering planned maintenance. Secondly they are also required to drive improvement across the site in terms of new machinery, hygiene, quality, and performance.

* Responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance work, whilst making sure it is carried out to the highest possible standards across the whole of the site.

* Expected to carry out all maintenance across the factory, in both a low care and high care environment.

* Preference for electrical bias.


* Apprentice trained in a related engineering discipline E or M

* NVQ3/ONC/HNC in a related engineering discipline E or M


* Legionella awareness & Legionella awareness for senior managers or persons of responsibility

* Food safety level 2

* HACCP level 2

Knowledge & Experience

* At least five years’ experience of engineering within a food production, automotive, pharmaceutical environment.

* Continuous improvement experience, tools and techniques.

* TPM methodology awareness.

* Safe systems of working, LOTO


* Permit control



* Ability to problem solve

* Ability to work accurately & methodically

* Good communication skills

* Good understanding of customer deliverables & impact of failure

* Flexible approach to duties & tasks

* Working knowledge of RCA

* Self motivated
