We have a great opportunity to join our Finance Team as a Procurement Officer on a permanent, full time (37 hours) basis.

As directed by the Procurement Manager, lead on the delivery of procurement activity across the group which includes prepare requests for quotations, manage informal and formal tendering for all areas of the business utilising the Groups electronic Tendering system, Proactis, including conducting and managing Mini Competitions.
Being fully conversant with electronic Tendering systems including systems operated by our partner framework providers as well as having excellent Excel skills, the Procurement Officer will manage the Supplier Data Base and the Group Contract Data Base whilst continuously seeking improvements in effectiveness, value for money and quality in the organisational performance of procurement activities.
In order to do this role you will need:
Be fully MCIPS qualified, or actively working towards MCIPS
Broad public sector procurement experience.
Experience of delivering compliant procurement projects that meet stakeholder and customer requirements.
Excellent IT skills and experience of utilising electronic purchasing systems and platforms
Experience of managing relationships, motivating and influencing stakeholders and effective communication at all levels.
Excellent Microsoft Office Applications experience
Excellent communication and presentation experience. A working knowledge and understanding of public sector procurement processes and all relevant procurement legislation.
Experience of setting up and implementing electronic catalogue systems
Understanding of Dynamic Purchasing System Tender Methodology
Demonstrable understanding of OJEU compliant EU Tendering Management Software such as Pro Contract.
