In this role as Technical Architect, you will have a key focus on Unified Communications, help drive strategy, roadmaps and the introduction of new capabilities to meet business objectives. You will produce end-to-end technical designs aligned to architecture and security standards and influence solutions towards the infrastructure future state model. You will also work with the projects/implementation teams to ensure that delivered solutions match the designs and customer requirements, including high quality documentation and handover support.
What are we looking for?
To transform the way our business works we are looking for an Architect who understands existing environments such as Mitel platforms and develop new ways of working to continue the transition of services to Microsoft M365 UCaaS and other Cloud Services.
Experience of Mitel networks including MiVoice for Business, MiContact Centre, Mitel Voice recorder and Mitel IVR
M365 and Modern Workplace technologies
Microsoft Teams Devices
Microsoft Teams analytics and Call Quality Dashboard (CQD)
Session Border Controllers, SIP Trunking and Teams Direct routing
Network infrastructure and Quality of Service
Broad knowledge of telephony products and features including virtual call centres, options for sunset of analogue and ISDN lines
Knowledge of the Unified Communications market and competing product sets
Knowledge of TOGAF and Enterprise Architecture tools
You will also have broader knowledge and experience across cloud platforms, networking and data centre technologies to ensure solutions integrate with the current Kier environment.
