About the Role
This role is within a clean working Engineering environment and for someone with a can do attitude and enthusiasm. With attention to detail you will provide first class customer service within this department encompassing all operations based duties, supporting the Operations Team Members and Sales Divisions at all times.
You will be working within the production warehouse department carrying out a range of duties including stock control, operating Fork Lifts/Cranes and various production machinery.
Control and complete paperwork, including reading, understanding and updating.
Use the in-house bespoke computer system whenever necessary.
Take and return stock correctly.
Operate logistical equipment including cranes and fork lifts.
Set, program and operate the machines
General and preventative saw maintenance, identifying any issues.
Determine the usage of blades including blade replacement.
Inspect work produced to ensure that it meets the specifications to ensure operations meets production standards.
Follow the standard Health & Safety legislation, wear correct PPE
Follow the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions whenever applicable.
Understand policies, procedures and risk assessments.
Work as part of a team
Follow the training you recieve when using any work items given to you
Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s health and safety.
Co-operate with your employer on Health & Safety.
Computer literate, good knowledge of microsoft office
High attention to detail
The ability to work under pressure

Must be able to demonstrate that they are a good team player and if necessary work on own initiative

Be flextible and able to work overtime when necessary to need the business needs
Take instructions well
GCSE Maths and English 4/C or equivalent
Shift patterns of:-
Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm (dependent on age)and 2pm -10pm. Friday hours vary and will be early finishes.
Total Hours 37 per week
£4.30ph = £159.10 per week
